Message from the Embassy of Pakistan in Libya

The Embassy of Pakistan in Tripoli, Libya, shared a special congratulatory message by the Ambassador of Pakistan, Major General Retired Rashid Javed, addressing all Pakistanis residing in Libya.

The message read:

“We are proud to be part of our wonderful nation. Today we appreciate those who made our freedom possible. Freedom is hard to find but we were blessed to have it.

Let us appreciate everything we have and celebrate the great miracle of freedom and raise our flag. Happy Independence Day.”

Message by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union

In a special message recorded for the occasion, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union, Dr. Asad Majeed Khan, congratulated all the Pakistanis residing in Luxembourg and Belgium.

In his message, he said the day is a reminder of the struggles for freedom of their ancestors and the establishment of a state to practice their culture and religion freely.

He further said it is also a day when the Pakistanis can pledge to continue their struggle to protect those values for which their ancestors made sacrifices.

He urged people to vow to make Pakistan a progressive and democratic nation, according to the vision of the Father of Nation, Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

 

He expressed hope for the Pakistanis residing in Belgium and Luxembourg to play a vital role in the development of Pakistan and strengthen the relations of Belgium and Luxembourg with Pakistan. He urged the people to pledge to work for the country’s socioeconomic development.

Moreover, in a tweet, the Ambassador shared that the Belgium Post (BPost) has issued a special commemorative stamp on their request to mark this important occasion.

Celebrations at the Pakistan Embassy in France 

Chargé d’affaires M. Amjad Qazi hoisted the national flag this morning at Pakistan Embassy in Paris to mark the 75th anniversary of the independence of Pakistan. A large number of people attended the event

To celebrate the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan live music and cultural program was arranged at the Embassy. Guests were served traditional Pakistani food.

Moreover, the artwork of a Pakistani artist Xandria Noir was also displayed at the Embassy in France.

Celebrations at the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal

A simple and graceful flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal today. Ambassador Syed Haider Shah hoisted the flag. The Embassy’s Officers & Officials and the Pakistani community in Nepal attended the ceremony.

The messages of the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out. Addressing the flag hoisting ceremony, Ambassador Syed Haider Shah recalled the history of the Pakistan movement under the leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Referring to the Jammu Kashmir dispute, the Ambassador said that resolution of this long outstanding dispute following the people’s wishes and the UN resolutions was indispensable for lasting peace, stability, and prosperity of the region.

Tribute from the Ambassador of Pakistan to Denmark

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Denmark, Ahmad Farooq, shared a special message on the day in which he paid tribute to Jinnah and remembered the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the borders of the nation.

The Ambassador also paid a special tribute to the country by unveiling a special canvas painting on the occasion.

A flag hoisting ceremony also took place at the Embassy of Pakistan in Denmark attended by many.

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey shared a special video message congratulating the Pakistanis on the occasion and highlighted the significance of the day.

Celebrations at Pakistan High Commission in Brunei

Flag hoisting ceremony and reception at the High Commission of Pakistan, Brunei Darussalam, were organized to celebrate the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan.

The High Commission also organized various social activities, including tree plantation, beach cleaning, and a friendly cricket match.

Celebrations at the Embassy of Pakistan in Austria

The Embassy of Pakistan in Vienna, Austria celebrated the day with a flag hoisting ceremony.

Pakistan Embassy in Italy

The Embassy of Pakistan in Italy congratulated the Pakistanis in Italy, back home, and all across the globe on the auspicious occasion.

It paid tribute to the founding father, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and all other leaders of the freedom movement.

Moreover, it renewed its commitment to making Pakistan a prosperous, pluralistic, progressive, and democratic country.

The Ambassador of Pakistan, Jauhar Saleem, hoisted a flag to the tune of our national anthem at the Embassy and shared a special message.  

Remembering the sacrifices made for the freedom of Pakistan, the Ambassador paid a special tribute to the two hundred thousand Pakistanis in Italy for their contribution and support of different causes.

The Ambassador of Pakistan to China, Moin ul Haque, shared a special message highlighting the day’s importance.

He paid tribute to Jinnah and urged Pakistanis around the world, particularly in China, to contribute to the development of Pakistan

Celebrations at the Pakistan High Commission in Malaysia

The High Commissioner of Pakistan in Malaysia, Amna Baloch, congratulated all the Pakistanis residing in Malaysia and elsewhere in the world in a video message

The High Commission also organized a Pakistan Festival on the occasion in collaboration with Malaysia Pakistan Business Council to celebrate the 75th Independence day. The event was attended by both Pakistani and Malaysian nationals.  

Message from the Ambassador of Pakistan to Cambodia

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Cambodia, Zaheeruddin Babar Thaheem, shared a special message congratulating Pakistanis on the day and urging them to move forward with unity, faith, and discipline.

Pakistan High Commission in Mauritius

The Pakistan High Commission in Mauritius celebrated the day with a flag-hoisting ceremony followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.

On this occasion, the High Commission also made a soft launch of the “Pakistan Week 2022”, scheduled for the first week of September 2022.

This morning, a flag hoisting ceremony was organized at the High Commission to celebrate Independence Day in which the Pakistani community from Wellington and surrounding areas participated.

Celebrations at the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the UN 

The Permanent Mission of Pakistan held a joint flag hoisting ceremony to the UN New York and Consulate General New York on the occasion of the 75th independence day of Pakistan.

In a special message in a tweet, the Permanent Representative to UN, Ambassador Munir Akram, said freedom is never free. The founding fathers faced vigorous opposition, and hundreds of thousands of our brothers and sisters sacrificed their lives, and secured Pakistan through determination, resolve, wisdom, and democratic struggle. Pakistanis must never forget their heroism, ideals, and sacrifice.

Celebrations around the world 

Apart from these, other Pakistani Embassies, High Commissions, and Consulates in different countries and regions also celebrated the Diamond Jubilee in different ways and shared special messages for Pakistanis worldwide.

Diplomatic Missions of other countries in Pakistan and elsewhere in the world and Ministries of Foreign Affairs of several countries also celebrated the day and sent congratulatory messages for the government and people.
