Ulaanbaatar, 27 October 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Culture of Mongolia, Chinbat Nomin met with Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), O Sung-ho. Chinbat Nomin is also the Head of the Mongolian side of the Mongolia-DPRK Intergovernmental Consultative Commission.

During the meeting, the Korean Ambassador emphasized the need to hold joint meetings. Especially, of the Intergovernmental Consultative Commission; on economic and technical cooperation between Mongolia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. He also suggested a regular meeting between the two states, when the pandemic recedes.

The Mongolian Minister was appointed as the Head of the organization recently. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Culture, she discussed increasing cooperation between the two countries.

The DPRK Ambassador was accompanied by the Counsellor of the Embassy, Han Chol Min, and Trade Consultant, Han Jong Gyu, for the meeting.
