Beijing, 28 November 2022 (TDI): President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh along with his wife, Bolortsetseg Khürelsükh arrived in Beijing on 27 November 2022 for the state visit to China.

The vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Sun Weidong, the Director of the Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs China, Li Jinsun, and the Ambassador of Mongolia to China, Tuvshin Badral welcomed President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh.

On the second day of the two-day visit, the President of Mongolia met the Prime Minister of China, Li Keqiang at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, according to the statement released by Mongolia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.

President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh remarks

A High-level delegation from both sides discusses mutual cooperation, bilateral relations, and regional dynamics. President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh expressed his gratitude to the Chinese Premier for organizing the High-level state visit and warm reception.

Moreover, he congratulated the 20th National Congress of CPC and the Chinese Government and people on the successful implementation of the first 100-year goal of building a moderately wealthy society in all respect.

Mongolia’s priority in its foreign policy is the development of good neighboring relations and mutual cooperation with China and economic stability in the region, President noted.

He expressed his satisfaction that even during the pandemic both countries maintained the frequency of high-level meetings and visits and resolved bilateral cooperation issues.

Both sides reviewed the economic cooperation in recent years and discusses new sectors to cooperate. President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and political trust between both sides.

He urged China to intensify trade, investment, and economic cooperation to ensure the development of both East Asian countries.

To boot, the President of Mongolia expressed confidence that both countries will work closely to implement agreements signed by both governments for the development of the people of Mongolia and China.

Premier Li Keqiang remarks

Premier of the Chinese State Council, Li Keqiang underlined the importance of the current President of Mongolia’s visit to China as it will deepen and strengthen the China-Mongolia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

At last, he assured Mongolia that China will make efforts to expand relations, economic cooperation, and development between both states. He further made sure the implementation of issues was discussed during the heads of state meeting.
