Islamabad (TDI): The Africa Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), in collaboration with the Pakistan Africa Economic Council (PAEC), hosted a prestigious Iftar dinner, bringing together diplomats, parliamentarians, and prominent members of the business community to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan and strengthen Pakistan-Africa relations.
The event was attended by Ambassadors, dignitaries, and key stakeholders committed to fostering economic and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and African nations.
Director General (Africa Division) Dr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey delivered a keynote address, introducing PAEC and its objectives to enhance trade, investment, and bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and African countries.
During the ceremony, Dr. Sirohey announced Shields of Honor for PAEC Chairman Dr. Shahbaz Ali Malik and Secretary General Mohammad Tauseef Zaman in recognition of their outstanding contributions to promoting Pakistan-Africa economic collaboration.
The shields were presented by Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan, who commended the recipients for their dedication and leadership.
The Iftar dinner served as a platform for meaningful dialogue, networking, and solidarity, reinforcing the shared commitment to deepening mutual prosperity and partnership.
