Romanian Foreign Minister welcomed his Bangladeshi counterpart in Bucharest

Bucharest, 8 October 2021 (TDI): Bogdan Aurescu, the Foreign Minister of Romania met with Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen, the Bangladeshi Foreign Minister.

The Romanian Foreign Minister welcomed the Bangladeshi Foreign Minister in Bucharest. The two counterparts talked about bilateral relations. They emphasized strengthening their relations by enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

They also discussed the issues of mutual interest deeply. They consulted on the issues by sharing their opinions on them. The Romanian Foreign Minister also thanked his Bangladeshi counterpart for his efforts in relaunching the bilateral relations.
They agreed to increase the people-to-people contacts. MoU was also signed between them. They agreed to expand their cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, agriculture, and IT. They also debated on various regional and global issues including Climate Change. The two counterparts emphasized multilateralism and agreed that it is the solution to the problems of the world.
Momen was invited by his Romanian counterpart for an official visit to Bucharest. The visit of the Bangladeshi Foreign Minister will help the two countries to build and strengthen bilateral relations. It will also open up directions for the cooperation between two countries.
