Rome, 8 October 2021 (TDI): The Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ramtane Lamamra tabled talks with Luigi Di Maio, the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The meeting focused on enhancing the strategic partnership between Italy and Algeria. In the presence of various state ministers and businessmen, the two ministers discussed the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations from Africa and Europe.

Along with it, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of both Algeria and Italy had an extensive discussion on the regional scenario and proposed remedies for regional security and mutual development.
Lastly, both of the Foreign Ministers shed light on the transition in Libya and had talks for some solutions for the peaceful political transition.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, and both parties committed to promoting enhanced bilateral relations, strategic partnership, and aggravated trade.
