Kabul, 26 August 2021 (TDI): Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Mansoor Ahmed Khan, held an extensive and constructive meeting with Bahadur Aminian, the Ambassador of Iran to Afghanistan. They met at Pakistan House in Kabul and discussed future prospects of Afghanistan. They went into greater depth about Afghanistan’s present circumstances following the Taliban takeover. They concluded that it is critical to construct an inclusive government in order to establish long-term peace and stability in Afghanistan.
They further discussed the ways of achieving peace in a war-torn country like Afghanistan. Both parties ensured their continued support and cooperation in different sectors in Afghanistan. Despite differences, maintaining cordial relations with Afghanistan is considered essential.
