Beirut, 6 October 2021 (TDI): Abdullah Bou Habib, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon held a meeting with Nils Annan, the Minister of State in the German Foreign Ministry. The two counterparts discussed bilateral relations.
The German Foreign Minister expressed support for Lebanon on behalf of his country. Germany welcomes the formulation of the new government and will support it to implement parliamentary reforms, post haste.
Lebanon and Germany enjoy multi-dimensional and cordial bilateral relations. Germany lent support to Lebanon in various sectors like education and agriculture, after the Lebanese Civil War. Even now it has been supporting the country to alleviate the after-effects of the Syrian conflict and providing care for Syrian refugees.
The meeting was attended by the officials from both sides.
