Nur-Sultan, 22 March 2022 (TDI): The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, following the plane crash incident in China, commiserated with the Chinese President, Xi Jinping. Leaders of Russia and Sri Lanka also extended their condolences to the citizens of the People’s Republic of China.
Condolatory Message of President of Kazakhstan
President of Kazakhstan stated on behalf of all Kazakhstanis, “Sharing the bitterness of loss, at this difficult moment, on behalf of all Kazakhstanis and on my own behalf,” Furthermore, he expressed his condolences to the families and friends of victims and all the Chinese people, “I express my sincere condolences to you, the families and friends of the victims, as well as to the entire Chinese people.”

Condolence Message of the President of Sri Lanka
Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa took to Twitter to express his grief on the incident. He said his condolences to the family of the deceased. “Our thoughts are with them as they grapple with their loss.”
Russian President on the Incident
President Vladimir Putin of Russia also conveyed his condolences to the Chinese President over the grave incident of the plane crash. He expressed his sorrow on the death of the crew members and passengers on the flight from Kunming to Guangzhou.
The Plane Crash Incident
On Monday, a passenger plane carrying around 133 people on board crashed in Guangxi Zhuang, an autonomous region in South China. According to the state media, the crash in the mountainous region led to a fire in the woods.
“The crashed China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 flight was reportedly cruising at an altitude of 8,869 meters, at a speed of 845 km/h after taking off from Kunming Changshui Airport at 13:15. The flight suddenly descended with its speed dropping at 14:19 and lost its ADS-B radar signal at 14:21”.
So far, no survivors have been found. However, the wreckage of the plane was found at the scene. According to the state media, remnants of air crafts, belongings of victims such as id cards, and burnt wallets were found at the crash site. Therefore, the search for the survivors continues.
