Bishkek, 29 March 2022 (TDI): On Monday, the Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ruslan Kazakbaev, held a meeting with the activists and leaders of Kyrgyz Diaspora Associations. The meeting was organized at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany.

Likewise, the Kyrgyz Embassy in Germany arranged the meeting within the framework of the official visit of the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Highlights of the Meeting

In his welcoming speech, Foreign Minister Kazakbaev said that the Kyrgyz people living in Germany are bridges in bilateral relations. Furthermore, he said that maintaining ties with fellow countrymen is among the priorities of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.

He underscored the significance of sports and cultural events arranged by the activists of Kyrgyz Diaspora associations in Germany. He stated that such events would build up the union of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany and Europe.

Likewise, these activities will play a part in further collaboration, careful preservation of the culture & traditions of Kyrgyzstan, and their transfer to a new generation and the education of patriotism.

The Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic ceased the opportunity to express gratitude towards his compatriots for their continual help and support.

Further, he noted that consular offices pay special attention to protecting the right and legitimate interests of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. It includes close contact with activists of Kyrgyz diaspora associations.

Moreover, he had a question-answer session with compatriots. Ruslan Kazakbaev was introduced to the activists and leaders of Kyrgyz diaspora associations during the meeting. Embassy officials briefed Minister on the main objectives of their activities.

They talked about the issues of politics, economic cooperation and trade between Germany and the Kyrgyz Republic. Furthermore, they discussed expanding humanitarian and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Likewise, they exchanged views about human resources and tourism development in the Kyrgyz Republic. Lastly, Foreign Minister Kazakbaev wished everyone further solidarity, unity and success.
