Islamabad, 29 December 2022 (TDI): On December 29, Ulanbek Totuiaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met with Muhammad Hassan Bakshi and Professor Dr. Bashir Javed Paracha.
The main agenda of the meeting was the promotion of Medical Studies in Kyrgyzstan & exploring relevant avenues to facilitate Pakistani students in this context. Medical colleges in Kyrgyzstan for Pakistani students offer an easy & hassle-free admission process.
The meeting was attended also by Mariam Mustafa, Country Head, HMA, Pakistan, and Damir Murataaly Uulu, PA to the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan.
Muhammad Hassan Bakshi is the former Chairman of the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan and head of the construction company “Bakshi Enterprises” (Karachi).
While Dr. Bashir Javed Paracha is the Director of “WCI Educational Consultants.” The two sides discussed potential areas of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.
Aside from that, establishing contacts between business circles, increasing the volume of mutual trade, and implementing joint projects in a variety of fields were deliberated upon during the meeting.
To encourage bilateral economic & trade cooperation, the two sides agreed to send a delegation of Karachi businessmen working in construction, building materials production, tourism, mining and mineral processing, and education to Kyrgyzstan.
The two sides agreed to consider the establishment of a Kyrgyzstan trade house in Karachi where Hassan Bakshi will facilitate him however he can.
Moreover, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan will share information on Kyrgyzstan’s list of products for import and export along with the list of investment projects.
Also, Hassan Bakshi with the cooperation of Dr. Bashir Javed Paracha will visit Kyrgyzstan with a delegation of 25-30 business investors after the month of Ramadan. His Excellency will lead the visit.

This delegation will visit in the first half of 2023. Furthermore, they agreed to establish a Kyrgyzstan Trade House in Karachi, Pakistan, recognizing the region’s high level of economic activity.
Likewise, Ulanbek Totuiaev expressed his willingness to pay a working visit to Karachi & Pakistan’s Balochistan province early next year to discuss in full depth the prospects for bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as to familiarise himself with the seaport possibilities in these regions.
He also stated that organizing access to these terminals is critical for Kyrgyz companies in order to export their products to foreign markets.
