Bishkek, 31 October 2022 (TDI): The Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Moldova swapped greetings on the celebration of the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and Nicu Popescu, the Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova wrote a letter to one another on 30th October 2022, to extend gratitude and greet on this occasion of celebration.

Messaged from the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister

Jeenbek Kulubaev conveyed appreciation and congratulated his counterpart on successfully completing 30 years of diplomatic partnership by establishing diplomatic relations between the two states.

The Minister wrote that both states enjoyed a long-term pleasant association. Both extended bilateral cooperation by indulging in projects of mutual interest in all significant sectors.

The two countries are constantly in touch and continued to negotiate at multilateral platforms. The mentioned meetings concluded the development and signing of numerous new concords between the stakeholders.

The Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan further wrote that the two states enjoyed great potential for the development of mutual collaboration, but it is not yet effusively utilized.

He proposed to bring the relationship between the two states to an innovative level. He suggested that mentioned goal can be achieved through the shared determinations of Foreign Ministries.

Moreover, the edification of economic and trade partnerships along with the solidification and progress of an entire range of relations is in the vital interests of both countries.

Statement of Moldovan Foreign Minister

The Foreign Minister of Moldova also congratulated his Kyrgyz counterpart on the completion of his 30th year of diplomatic partnership.

He indicated that a friendly partnership between the two states is based on mutual respect and understanding. He hoped for the extension and strengthening of this beneficial collaboration.

The Minister further demonstrated a willingness to develop the discourse between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
