Beijing, (TDI): The trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China has reached approximately $11 billion in the first seven months of 2024, according to Bakyt Torobayev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
This significant figure underscores the strengthening economic relations between the two nations.
Torobayev noted that the successful cooperation framework was established during high-level meetings between Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Last year, the trade volume between the countries hit $20 billion, reflecting a remarkable 32% increase compared to 2022.
Key initiatives aimed at enhancing collaboration continue to unfold.

One notable project is the construction of a railway connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, which is progressing steadily.
