Ottawa, D.C, 1 October 2021 (TDI): Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke with Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe on Wednesday to discuss the situation of Covid-19 amid the rising number of cases in the Canadian province. The Prime Minister exhibited a commitment to working with the provincial government of Saskatchewan and providing additional support whenever required.
During the telephonic conversation, Justin Trudeau reiterated that the Government of Canada is ready to respond to any requests from the Saskatchewan province and encouraged Premier Scott Moe to submit specific needs required to tackle the pandemic situation. While discussing the Covid-19 vaccination rate in the province, the officials emphasized the importance of immunization and mutually agreed that vaccination is the most effective tool against the pandemic.
Moreover, the Prime Minister and Premier also shared a commitment to working with the rural, indigenous, and remote communities to get them vaccinated against Covid-19. Justin Trudeau devotedly proclaimed to saving people’s lives in the Saskatchewan province and take all necessary measures required to end the pandemic.
