Beijing, 1 October 2021 (TDI): Pakistan participated in the International Military Flight Training Conference held in Zhuhai (China) on 30 September. The Conference was initiated by the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) in 2010. It provides a platform to exchange views on the innovation of flight training and aviation equipment. It is held biannually.
This year’s theme of the conference was “Talent, Innovation, Collaboration, Development”. Representatives from 49 countries attended the conference. Several Chinese and foreign speakers from the military sector addressed the conference.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice President of Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force Command College, Li Xiaocheng, said training air force commanders for the era of intelligent air battle will be a challenging task and an innovation in the development of the air force. He further informed the participants that the training mode of PLAAF will be upgraded from ‘simulation + network’ to ‘virtual + intelligent’. Moreover, training will be upgraded from ‘manual-based to ‘intelligent based.
Furthermore, Hao Jungwen, head of the training bureau under PLAAF, stated PLAAF is customizing its training and equipment in line with rapid technological innovation.
