Doha, 13 October 2021 (TDI): The Monarch of Jordan, King Abdullah II is visiting Doha, to meet the ruler of Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Queen Rania Al Abdullah is also accompanying him on this visit. The objective of the diplomatic sojourn is to broaden the collaborative relations.
An official welcoming ceremony was held for the Jordanian Monarch at the Amiri Diwan in Doha.

The two will be discussing the brotherly relations between Jordan and Qatar. Regional and institutional developments will also be discussed in the meeting.
Qatar and Jordan have strong bilateral ties which were established diplomatically in 1972. The two allies have mutually beneficial relations in the economic, political, investment, cultural, and development fields.
