Maldivian High Commissioner presented credentials to South African President

Pretoria, 13 October 2021 (TDI): The Non-Resident High Commissioner Of Maldives to  South Africa, Omar Abdul Razak presented his Credentials to the President of South Africa, Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa. This ceremony was held this afternoon at the Presidential Guesthouse.

During the Ceremony, High Commissioner, Omar expressed his gratitude to the South African Government. He is elected as the first Non-Resident High Commissioner of Maldives to South Africa.

High Commissioner Omar conveyed greetings from Maldivian President, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to the President and friendly people of South Africa. He further expressed commitment to work closely with the South African Government.

He expressed his commitment to strengthening the bilateral relationship between Male and Pretoria.

South African President congratulated High Commissioner, Omar on the commencement of his term.

President expressed hope to work closely with the Maldives in further strengthening the bilateral relations.
