Jordanian Foreign Minister expresses solidarity with Oman

Amman, 4 October 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs & Expatriates of Jordan, Ayman Safadi called the Foreign Minister of Oman, Badr Albusaidi. The call was made in the wake of Hurricane Shaheen to express solidarity.

The Jordanian Foreign Minister, on behalf of Jordan’s Monarch, offered support to Oman with all their capabilities. He also expressed his good wishes for Omani’s, in these trying circumstances, that they stay safe.

The Hurricane made landfall on Sunday, October 3, between Al-Suwaiq and Al-Masnaah, Oman. It is a category 1 Hurricane and struck 50 miles west-northwest of Muscat. So far, three casualties have been reported because of the Hurricane as it brought flash flooding and torrential rains to the desert climate.

Oman’s allies all around the world have expressed solidarity with the country in the wake of the natural calamity.
