Tokyo, 4 September 2021 (TDI): The gold medal victory of Pakistani contestant Haider Ali, the Discus thrower (F37) in the 2020 Paralympics is a historic moment for Pakistan. The Japanese Ambasador to Pakistran, His Exelency Matsuda Kuninori conveyed his heartiest congratulations to the athelete, his family and the people of Pakistan on this proud moment.
Haider Ali won the gold medal with a score of 55.26m.
The athelete was hosted in the Pakistan Embesy in Tokyo by the Pakistani Ambassador Imtiaz Ahmad. He thanked the people and the Pakistani Foreign Minisrer for their moral suport. He also thanked the Pakistani Ambassador for the victory dinner at the Embassy.
