Bishkek, 23 September (TDI): Chinese officials in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have sent food and pandemic aid to Kyrgyzstan as a gesture of friendly relations. The official ceremony was held on Wednesday. The event was attended by the Minister of Health and Social Development, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev as well as the State Secretary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Azamat Mambetov of Kyrgyzstan.
The Chinese Ambassador to the country, Du Dewwn said that the gesture of help against the pandemic from both sides has strengthened their already friendly relationship.
Kyrgyzstan’s government sincerely thanked China for its assistance in fighting against the deadly pandemic.
