Islamabad (TDI): Nobel Peace laureate Malala Yousafzai said lambasted Israel over Palestine, saying Israel had destroyed the entire education system in Gaza.
She made these remarks while addressing an international conference on girls’ education in the Muslim world hosted by Pakistan.

“The Israeli forces have bombed all universities, destroyed more than 90 percent of schools, and indiscriminately attacked civilians sheltering in school buildings,” Malala said, adding that she would continue to call out Israel’s violation of international law and human rights.
Malala said that Palestinian children had lost their lives and future due to the ongoing genocide by Israel.
“[…] A Palestinian girl cannot have the future she deserves if her school is bombed and her family is killed,” she added.

According to the United Nations, 46,537 people have been killed during the ongoing conflict that started on October 7, 2023 when Hamas launched raids on Israeli cities and took 251 people hostage, of whom 94 remain in the Gaza Strip.
At least 34 of them have been declared dead by Israeli military.
