Iranian Ambassador Emphasizes Unity on International Quds Day

Islamabad (TDI): Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan, delivered a compelling speech on the occasion of International Quds Day, reaffirming Iran’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and urging the Muslim world to unite against oppression.

Addressing an Iftar dinner in connection with the International Quds Day, observed annually on the last Friday of Ramazan, the Iranian envoy emphasized that the day symbolizes Muslim unity in support of the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination.

Notably, he condemned the continued aggression and genocide by the Israeli regime, which is backed by the Western powers and the United States. He praised the resilience and strength of Hamas in its fight for Palestinian sovereignty and freedom.

“The Israeli axis, which once spoke of eliminating Hamas, is now compelled to engage in direct negotiations with it,” he stated, emphasizing the shift in geopolitical dynamics.

Furthermore, Dr. Moghadam also acknowledged the growing global awareness regarding the atrocities in Gaza, despite international censorship and media bias.

He expressed deep gratitude to Pakistan’s government, media, and people. He commended their steadfast stance in advocating for Palestinian rights.

“The strong and courageous stance of the Pakistani government and its honorable people has played a significant role in raising global awareness,” he noted.
