Tehran, 19 August 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif and Foreign Minister of China and member of Chinese State Council, Wang Yi exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of strong diplomatic and bilateral relations between the two countries.
Zarif, the Foreign Minister of Iran, appreciated the strong strategic partnership that Iran and China share. He also expressed his pleasure in signing the “comprehensive strategic plan” that determines the close ties and continuation of bilateral relations.
Moreover, Zarif looks forward to maintaining the consultation between China and Iran on regional and international issues to gain peace.
However, Wang Yi in his congratulatory message said that both states have shared the development and progress in their diplomatic relations. He further added, both countries have worked together in various areas including consulting on regional and international affairs, fighting against the pandemic and many diplomatic involvements.
