Ambassador of Pakistan met Abdullah and Karzai

Kabul, 19 August 2021 (TDI): Ambassador Mansoor Ahmad Khan met Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation, and former President Hamid Karzai today in Kabul to discuss the situation evolving after the Taliban take over Kabul and announced to create of an Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. In his meeting, Ambassador Mansoor shared that both sides shared constructive discussions on efforts for lasting stability in Afghanistan.

Hamid Karzai, former President of Afghanistan tweeted about the meeting as well where he shared details saying that the current situation in the country and the inclusive political process with national and international legitimacy were discussed at the meeting.

Later Ambassador Mansoor Khan also announced that today Embassy has repatriated 20 Pakistanis women and children from Kabul to Pakistan via Torkham with the help of the embassy officials.
