Stockholm, 8 June 2023 (TDI): Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar met with the first Deputy Speaker Kenneth G Forsland at the Swedish parliament.

Hina Rabbani Khar and Kenneth G Forsland discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues of mutual interest.

Furthermore, Hina Rabbani expressed a desire to strengthen parliamentary ties between Pakistan and Sweden.

Discussions on bilateral relations

In the meeting, Hina Rabbani and Kenneth G Forsland discussed bilateral relations. Both countries wanted to strengthen their relations with each other. The two countries have cooperated in various fields, including trade and economic ties, education, science, and technology. Meanwhile, senior officials of Sweden-based international companies also invited Hina Rabbani Khar to Stockholm. In return, she also appreciated the investments of Sweden in Pakistan.
