Beijing, 30 July 2022 (TDI): The Global Digital Economy Conference 2022 was held in Beijing from July 28 to July 30. This Conference showcased the latest achievements in the digital economy.
On July 28, the opening ceremony was held. It was based on the theme “Embrace a Digital Future—New Factors, New Rules, New Patterns.” Guests from over 40 cities in more than 30 countries participated online and offline.

In addition, the digital economy has risen to the pinnacle of strategic importance in global competition. Countries all over the world are accelerating the development of the digital economy. The purpose is to seize the lead in future development and international competition.
According to IDC‘s forecast, the digital economy’s output value will account for 62 percent of global GDP by 2023. It also demonstrates that the world is entering a new era of the digital economy. The Conference promoted high-quality digital economy development in this new era.
