Paris, 09 August 2021 (TDI): French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs on Saturday stated that France will host the next Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024.
The Tokyo Olympics 2020 ended on 08 August 2021. The closing ceremony was held at the Tokyo Olympic stadium. After the ceremony, the flag was shifted from Tokyo to France. France will host the 2024 Olympics. It will be the third time in history for France after 1900 and 1924.
Crowds gathered in the French capital to celebrate the handover of the 2024 Paris Summer Games, dancing and celebrating at the foot of the Eiffel Tower as fighter jets flew into the sky in tricolor blue, white, and red smoke.
French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs asserted that hosting the next Olympics games is an honor for France and its representative diplomats and that all of us should celebrate the power and values of sports together.
