Islamabad, 13 September 2021 (TDI): Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Asim Iftikhar shared that the fourth consignment of relief goods through aircraft C130 had reached Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan on September 12, 2021. The relief goods include food items and medical supplies. The first consignment was delivered to Kabul on September 9. The second consignment reached Kandahar on September 10, while the third reached Khost on September 11.
Pakistan has been engaged proactively in providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan. Its objective is to see Afghanistan become peaceful and prosperous. In order to achieve its objective, the well-being of people and the prevention of humanitarian crises are vital. That’s why Pakistan is engaging with regional and international countries for a joint endeavors to bring stability and development in Afghanistan.
Pakistan continues to provide assistance to Afghans because it realizes that disengagement in the past has resulted in chaos and instability in Afghanistan.
