June 06, 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdullah Shahid, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Panama, Erika Mouynes. In this meeting, they gauged their strategic alliances with island nations that are of essential significance in the arena of the multilateral organization; the United Nations.
In his tweet, Foreign Minister of Maldives, Abdullah Shahid, further shared that he was gratified on meeting the Foreign Minister of Panama, Erika Mouynes. He also expressed that he was excited to further venture into the domain of bilateral and multilateral relations. Hence, this meeting was of significance for the bilateral relations between Maldives and Panama.
