Foreign Ministers from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia held bilateral talks

New York, 24 September 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi held bilateral talks with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

During the meeting, both Foreign Ministers expressed their satisfaction over existing bilateral ties and level of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The Foreign Ministers from two sides highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation between their states and discussed areas of mutual interests.

The meeting marked the discussions on current developments in Afghanistan. Shah Mahmood stated that role of international community Is highly significant in this regard. As it can arrange positive engagements, peaceful solution, and long-term development in Afghanistan.

The Foreign Ministers also exchange their views on regional and global issues. The officials also discussed the matters of trade investments and collaborations between two countries. Both representatives looking forward to strengthen the diplomatic relations and bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
