Antananarivo, 27 September 2021 (TDI): Patrick Rajoelina, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Madagascar, held talks with Preeti Sinha, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Capital Development Fund, to discuss food safety and digitization.
The core aim of the meeting was to paint a clear picture of the efforts rendered for the digitization of public services in the Republic of Madagascar under the United Nations Capital Development Fund. Along with it, both parties shed light on reducing environmental risks, enhancing human well-being and social equity under the banner of the blue economy.
Apart from this, the incubation of young and growing companies and energy efficiency were also put on the table. Both parties also took into account the issues concerning food security in Madagascar and committed to reducing food insufficiency for better well-being.
The meeting concluded with a discussion on fiscal decentralization in the Republic of Madagascar. Both attendees committed to working for the better future of the people of Madagascar.
