Amman, 26 August 2021- (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Serbia Nikola Selakovic is on his official visit to Jordan during which he met the Foreign Minister of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, and other high officials.
Both the Foreign Ministers of Jordan and Serbia agreed to form a group focused on enhancing bilateral ties in various fields. They discussed the international efforts to ensure effective peace talks between Palestine and Israel authorities based on the two-state solution for the rights of Palestinian people.
They also exchanged their thoughts on how to resolve the Syrian crisis and in addition, the international support for the refugees in Lebanon. The FM of Serbia praised Jordan’s role in achieving comprehensive peace dialogues in the region.
It is the first visit of the Serbian Foreign Minister to Jordan in 30 years, during which various agreements were discussed along with the rejuvenation of contacts between business communities in both countries.
