Berlin, 24 August 2021- (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Sophie Wilmes had a telephonic discussion with her UK counterpart Dominic Raab, the Secretary of State for the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom.
The agenda under discussion during this phone call was the G7 emergency meeting that was held yesterday regarding the current situation in Afghanistan. The ongoing evacuation efforts to pull out people from Afghanistan and submit the refugees to various countries were also a great concern to both parties. Both countries reassured each other of their support for the cause.
