Dushanbe (TDI): Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) to the Republic of Tajikistan, formally presented his credentials to His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan. This ceremony was held at the Palace of the Nation in Dushanbe. This marked a crucial moment in empowering the bilateral ties between the two nations.
In this sense, Ambassador Dr. Jemal Beker, who also serves as the non-resident Ambassador of Ethiopia to Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Islamabad. He was warmly welcomed the President Rahmon.
During that particular ceremony, the President extended his profound greetings and best wishes to the leaders and people of Ethiopia, focusing on the importance of bolstering a robust partnership between the two countries.
Moreover, President Rahmon stressed upon Tajikistan’s commitment to developing bilateral, regional, and multilateral cooperation with Ethiopia across various sectors, including trade, education, health, science and technology, aviation, energy, security, and climate change.
