Islamabad: June 20, 21 – (TDI) On World Refugees Day 2021 European Union promised to continue their fight to end the covid-19 pandemic and provide assistance and protection to the refugees worldwide. The European Union will continue to support UNHCR Pakistan. They are providing special covid-19 aid to the Afghan refugees in Pakistan. European Union also believes that only working together makes things better in the future.
European Union Civil and Humanitarian aid is working on six districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They provide medical assistance to Afghan refugees in the province. This aid program provides basic health services, mother and child care services, covid-19 units, and lastly, education and treatment of mental health are given.
