Cádiz, 5 September 2023 (TDI): The Development Ministers of the European Union (EU) gathered in Cádiz, Spain, on September 4-5 to forge a path toward faster achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This vital meeting, attended by the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development of Finland Ville Tavio, aimed to address pressing global challenges.
United Nations (UN) Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, leading the charge on the UN Sustainable Development Agenda, joined the EU Ministers to rejuvenate SDG efforts.
Despite reaching the halfway point of the agenda endorsed by the UN General Assembly in 2015, there’s a glaring gap in SDG progress, a concern as we near the 2030 deadline.
