Baghdad, 25 August 2021 (TDI): On Wednesday, the Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences, Dr. Abbas Kazem Obaid met with the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq, Salem Issa Al Qattam Al Zaabi.
Both officials exchanged their views on enhancing means of cooperation between the two states. They also praised the development of bilateral relations.
The Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences highlighted the importance of joint support and mutual coordination between the countries in international organizations. On his part, Emirati Ambassador to Baghdad assured UAE’s support in providing aid and support to several Iraqi institutions.
Moreover, the Emirati Ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciated the government of Iraq and its Foreign Ministry for providing facilities at the UAE Embassy in Iraq.
