Kabul, 24 August 2021 (TDI): Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, the Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation had a phone call with Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
After the Taliban takeover, the international community is concerned. The current situation in Afghanistan was discussed by both parties. It was considered essential to maintaining peace in Afghanistan and the region. During the phone call, it was argued and agreed that political resolution and peaceful resolution would only be significant for stability in Afghanistan. They also stressed strengthening the bilateral relations between both countries. It was essential to establish an inclusive government in Afghanistan. Afghanistan cannot be isolated so maintaining good relations with the international community is significant.
