Dr. Abdullah Abdullah calls FM of Germany

Kabul, 24 August 2021 (TDI): Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, the Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation had a phone call with Heiko Maas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany.

The world community is alarmed following the Taliban takeover. Both parties discussed the present situation in Afghanistan. It was regarded as critical to the preservation of peace in Afghanistan and the region. During the phone discussion, it was argued and agreed that political and peaceful resolutions would only be the solution for Afghanistan’s stability.

They also emphasized the need of boosting bilateral and diplomatic relations between the two countries. The establishment of an inclusive administration in Afghanistan was critical. Afghanistan needs to maintain cordial connections with the international community.
