Copenhagen, 16 0ctober 2021 (TDI): Denmark has donated 136, 800 Covid-19 vaccines to Egypt. Egypt received vaccines on 14 October 2021.

The world is facing unprecedented challenges posed by the Coronavirus. The Covid-19 has affected the whole world without any discrimination. These unprecedented challenges have united the world and created a new diplomacy known as vaccine diplomacy.
Developed countries are helping poor and vulnerable countries in these difficult times. Denmark is also not behind anyone supporting the countries in these challenging these times. Therefore, Denmark donated 136, 800 vaccines to Egypt. The vaccines reached Egypt on 14 October 2021. The Covid19 situation in Egypt is becoming alarming with daily 844 average cases.
Udviklingsministeren, the Minister for Development Cooperation and Nordic Cooperation of Denmark expressed that Denmark will continue to support the world to end this pandemic. He further stated that in this globalized world, no one is safe until everyone is safe.
