Beijing, 13 October 2022 (TDI): The Communist Party of China’s aka CPC (19th Central Committee) seventh plenary session ended in Beijing with the release of a communiqué about 20th National Congress, on Wednesday.
At the four-day meeting, which was presided over by the CPC Central Committee’s Political Bureau, General-Secretary, and the President of China, Xi Jinping gave a significant speech.
According to the statement, the plenary session determined that the 20th CPC National Congress would begin on October 16 in Beijing.
President Xi presented the plenum with a work report after receiving permission from the CPC Central Committee’s Political Bureau.
The 19th CPC Central Committee’s report to the 20th CPC National Congress, the 19th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection’s (CCDI) work report to congress, & a modification to the CPC Constitution were all reviewed & approved during the plenary session.

The statement articulated that the three texts would be presented to the forthcoming congress for review and discussion.
Xi Jinping gave an explanation of the draught report from the 19th CPC Central Committee to the 20th CPC National Congress during the session.
Furthermore, the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee was commended for fully implementing Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era over the past year in the face of demanding tasks of advancing reform, promoting development, and upholding domestic stability.
According to the statement, the five years after the 19th CPC National Congress have been rare and extraordinary. The Political Bureau also brought together and guided the entire Party, the armed forces, and the people of all ethnic groups in securing new and improved conditions.

It has helped ethnic groups in dealing with the dire and complex international situation and a number of significant risks and challenges, as well as advancing socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era in a vigorous manner.
The communique stated that numerous difficult issues that had remained unresolved for a long time had been resolved, numerous tasks of critical importance and long-term significance had been completed, and significant victories that attracted global attention had been won for the cause of the Party and the nation.
The session reviewed the work of the 19th CPC CCDI, noting that discipline inspection commissions at all levels had resolutely carried out the Party’s strategic decisions of self-reform and complete, strict self-governance under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, with Xi Jinping at its core.
It stated that the fight against corruption has gained a resounding success that has been consolidated on all fronts.
Likewise, in-depth discussions on significant problems, such as maintaining and advancing socialism with Chinese characteristics on the new journey in the new era, as well as creating a modern socialist country in every respect, were held as part of the session’s analysis of the current situation and tasks.
The statement stated that has made complete preparations for the impending 20th CPC National Congress. On October 9, Beijing hosted the start of the 19th CPC Central Committee’s seventh plenary session, which was attended by 199 full members and 159 alternate members.
Leading representatives from allied departments and members of the CCDI were also present but did not have voting rights.
The session agreed to admit Ma Guoqiang, Wang Ning, and Wang Weizhong as full members to the 19th CPC Central Committee in accordance with the CPC Constitution. They had served on the committee as substitutes.
The session also approved the punishment for Li Jia, who was demoted from his position in the Party, as well as the expulsion of Fu Zhenghua, Shen Deyong, and Zhang Jinghua from the CPC, as decided by the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
