Kabul, 23 August 2021 (TDI): Turkish and Azerbaijani soldiers are working together at Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport, where thousands have been gathering to flee since the Taliban’s recapture of Afghanistan.
Turkish and Azerbaijani troops are in coordination to rescue Turks from the conflicted country. Azerbaijani soldiers stated that they are proud to assist their Turkish brothers and sisters and are always willing to help them.
On 15 August, the Taliban assumed control of Afghanistan after the meek withdrawal of US security forces. Countries are evacuating their people and embassies and are concerned about their safety.
