Islamabad, 5 October 2021 (TDI): Iqbal Choudhary, the COMSTECH Coordinator-General, has formed a Technical Committee to organize an International Iqbal Forum in Kazakhstan 2022. The reason behind it is to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations.
This forum will be organized by COMSTECH in association with Turkic Academy in Astana and the Kazakh government. It will be to honor the work and contributions of Pakistan’s national poet, Allama Iqbal.
In association with Turkic Academy and the government of Kazakhstan, COMSTECH hosted the Al-Farabi Forum in Islamabad in 2020. On the sidelines of the Forum, the Turkic Academy and COMSTECH signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Both groups agreed to host seminars honoring and celebrating the contributions of notable Muslim academics.
