Bangladesh’s Prime Minister congratulates Japanese Counterpart


Dhaka, 5 October 2021 (TDI): Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Haseena Wajid extended heartiest greetings to the newly elected Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida.

Prime Minister of Bangladesh in her congratulatory remarks expressed warm wishes for Kishida. He has been elected as the 100th Prime Minister of Japan in the elections held this year. Haseena Wajid wished to work diligently with the new government of Japan. The government of Bangladesh plans to build bilateral relations. In order to promote wide-ranging partnership to strategic partnership. Along with expanding trade and investment between Japan and Bangladesh.

Both the countries have been enjoying warm relations since the independence of Bangladesh. They have worked collaboratively on economic and social development projects for the past 30 years.
