Beijing (TDI): Chinese Premier Li Qiang has called on China and the United States to pursue more practical cooperation outcomes and strengthen dialogue to stabilize bilateral relations.
He made the remarks in Beijing during a meeting with a visiting US Senate delegation led by Senator Steve Daines.
Li said China is willing to work with the US to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state and to improve communication channels across different levels.
He added that both sides should create a positive environment for cooperation in various fields and focus on delivering tangible results.
He referred to earlier communication between Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump, saying their phone call in February had provided strategic guidance for improving bilateral ties.
