Beijing, 21 December 2021 (TDI): Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi talked about the Foreign Policy of China in 2021.
Wang Yi made these remarks in the symposium on “the International Situation and China’s Foreign Relations in 2021.” The meeting was held in Beijing on 20 December 2021. He addressed the ceremony with a speech entitled “China’s Diplomacy in 2021: Embracing a Global Vision and Serving the Nation and its People.”
Chinese Foreign Minister emphasized that the world has been dealing with the persistent Coronavirus pandemic in the past year. He stated that the world is facing unprecedented challenges. In these global challenges, China has been stood with the world, on the side of humanity, he added.
Wang emphasized that despite the difficult situation in the world China has been working for international equity and justice as well as the growth of the developing countries. He said that China has been creating development opportunities despite the global crisis.
Chinese Foreign Minister highlighted that the strongest guide of action of the Chinese Diplomacy is the Head of State Diplomacy. He stressed that the objective of the Chinese Foreign Diplomacy is creating a global community based on shared values with a shared future. He pointed out that the prominent part to tell the world in the Chinese diplomacy is the success of the Chinese people and the Chinese Communist Party (CPC).
Wang also talked about the Chinese anti-pandemic diplomacy in the world. China has been consistently providing vaccines and other medical supplies to the world in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. He said that China has played an important role in the ant-pandemic fight. China will continue to support the world against the posed challenges, he added.
Wang emphasizes Multilateralism
He also highlighted that the world needs multilateralism for sustainable development. China has been denouncing unilateral actions in the world and upholding the torch of multilateralism for the collective good of the world, Wang added. He stressed that China is committed to its vision of creating a global community based on shared values. This will enhance multilateralism in the world.
Chinese Foreign Minister stated that China has been working for the peace and prosperity of the world. He said that China has urged its neighboring countries to jointly work for regional peace.
Wang pointed out that China has successfully defended its sovereignty and territorial integrity despite external interference. China will not allow anyone to undermine its dignity, he added.
Chinese Foreign Minister stated that 2022 will be a critical year for the progress of the Chinese people. China will host Beijing Olympics in 2022. The success of the Beijing Olympics is the top priority of the Chinese government. He said that China will also continue to work on its commitment to the anti-pandemic fight. It will continue to assist the world in the fight against the pandemic.
