Islamabad, 21 February 2023 (TDI): Pang Chunxue, Charge d’Affairs, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, met with Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Finance Division.
While welcoming Pang Chunxue, the Finance Minister emphasized the two countries’ long-standing and deep-rooted brotherly ties.
China and Pakistan have sturdy bilateral relations in a variety of economic areas, according to the information shared. Both parties discussed the possibility of deepening their economic and financial ties.
The Finance Minister lauded China’s leadership for its support of Pakistan during difficult times and shared various economic measures implemented by the government to move the economy forward.
In this vein, Pang Chunxue praised the government’s policy actions to maintain and strengthen fiscal and monetary stability.
She expressed goodwill gestures and assured Pakistan of the Chinese government’s continued support, adding that the Chinese government stands with the people of Pakistan and is willing to provide any assistance possible.

The two sides also discussed the status of CPEC projects and reaffirmed their commitment to accelerating the successful implementation of CPEC projects for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
The two parties expressed their determination to accelerate and strengthen mutual cooperation. Finally, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar thanked the Chinese Charge d’Affairs for her assistance and cooperation.
