Washington, 29 September 2021 (TDI): Chinese Ambassador to the United States, Qin Gang, invites American athletes to participate in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics Games, which will be held in four months. During an online reception to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the ambassador wished athletes from both countries the best of luck in the upcoming Games.
Daniel Kritenbrink, on behalf of the U.S., celebrates the People’s Republic of China and wishes them all happiness, peace, and success as they celebrate the October First National Day. Florence Fang, representing the Chinese community in the USA, conveyed best wishes for China’s 72nd National Day. She stated that China-US relations are the most important bilateral relations and expressed the hope that the two nations can work together to build a peaceful world and promote China-US friendly relations.
Ambassador Qin also stressed that China and America share history, culture, society, and development stages. So when it comes to the well-being of both peoples and the future, the decision of cooperation or conflict depends on states.
After the remarks from Ambassador Qin Gang and the American guests, the online performances of artists from China and the US were spectacular. The reception concluded with the song Ode to the Motherland and the celebration of the centenary of the Communist Party of China with the light shows of the city.
