Vilnius, 29 September 2021 (TDI): Alix Everard has taken charge as the new French Ambassador to the Republic of Lithuania.
Alix was warmly welcomed by Egidijus Meilunas, the Vice Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. Both leaders discussed bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to one another.
The French ambassador expressed her desire to further strengthen the bilateral relationship. She also discussed the possibility of strategic cooperation in several areas.
France and Lithuania share close economic ties. The trade volume between the two countries is more than a billion dollars. France is also the eighth largest supplier to Lithuania.
