Beijing, 7 January 2022 (TDI): President of China, Xi Jinping stated that China opposes external forces purposefully instigating unrest in Kazakhstan as well as orchestrating a “color revolution.”

The Chinese President expressed his views recently in a verbal message to the Kazakh President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Xi Jinping expressed sincere condolences on the recent large-scale riots in Kazakhstan, which have resulted in heavy casualties as well as property losses.

Xi Jinping lauded Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for his decisive and strong initiative to quickly calm down the situation at this critical moment.

This portrays his commitment and responsibility as a true statesman. The highly responsible stance towards the country and the people will stabilize the country’s situation eventually.

In his message, he further emphasized that China is against any forces that harm or threaten the stability of Kazakhstan, its security or destroy the peaceful life of its people.

Moreover, China is strongly against any attempt to sabotage the China-Kazakhstan relationship and impede collaboration between the two ally countries.

Xi Jinping also pledged that China is willing to provide support to Kazakhstan, as a brotherly neighbor as well as a permanent comprehensive strategic partner to help the country during these difficult times.

“China is always a trustworthy friend and reliable partner of Kazakhstan, no matter what risks and challenges Kazakhstan encounters, and the Chinese people will always stand together with the Kazakh people,” – Xi Jinping

Recently protests in Kazakhstan turned violent, especially in Almaty which is the country’s largest city. The rapidly deteriorating situation has resulted in multiple deaths over the past few days.

Ever since Kazakhstan has sought help from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

The Law Enforcement Agencies as well as the Armed force of Kazakstan are working to restore peace while the Kazakh President has declared a state of emergency all across the country.
